Our Mission
At My Hope Connection, our mission is to provide meaningful connections to people by sharing hope, compassion and facilitating spiritual growth through the Holy Scripture, assembling of believers and through the work of the Holy Spirit, that we may learn to walk like Christ and live a spiritually mature life for God's glory and not our own.
Our Guiding Scripture (Mission)
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also." (1 John 4:20-21)
Our Vision
To see a world where Christians walk in spiritual maturity exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit with the love, grace and mercy of Jesus Christ humbly in our daily connections.
Our Guiding Scripture (Vision):
"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
What We Believe
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and visible return in power and glory.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and by Whom the church is empowered to carry out Christ’s great commission.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe it is imperative to grow to maturity in our walk with Christ so we see people through His eyes and treat all human beings with His love, grace, mercy and compassion.
Angela Coleman - Executive Director
Angela is a Certified Corporate Trainer, Learning & Development Coach and Human Rights Consultant and co-founder of the Coleman Consulting Group. She is also currently the Executive Director for Rise Above Inc. 501(c)(3) assisting those impacted by mandatory registration laws. With over 15 years experience in the corporate world and Christian settings, she is inspired by the work God does in each individual and the positive change He makes in the hearts and minds of people that she is privileged to encounter through her ministries.
"The primary message as a Christian I hope to live out and inspire others to as well is that everyone is welcome to come to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and can be a new creature in Christ. I believe the term 'Christian' has been tainted by our own acts and worldly messages the church as a whole has portrayed. It is time to get back to the root of our faith and be the church we were called to be. Love, grace, mercy and above all, compassion for all people."
